SCL, the Simple Contract Language, is the protocol work at the center of what we build at Dark Fusion. It is a meta-protocol on Bitcoin and Lightning: deterministic smart contracts, asset issuance, and programmable settlement, with no new chain and no compromise to Bitcoin's security model. These articles document the design decisions, the trade-offs, and the reasoning behind building on Bitcoin rather than beside it.
